Fond Memories of Happiness, Frustration & Personal Growth Submitted by: Bob (Robert) LaBella (class of 1965) Date: 4/3/2010
All of high school was an 'event' for me. I cherish all the memories, frustrations and personal growth gained through experiences with my classmates, would-be, "wanna be" girl friends, the athletics in which I participated and provided me incentive to stay in school and ultimately enabled me through college. Everything I owe to friends and teachers admired and who (without their knowledge) inspired me to go on.
Teachers have no idea how much an influence they can be on their students... who often act as if they don't care or have no interest. But it was my teachers and coaches who provided huge focus and incentive for me in seeking and developing my abilities and future... And as far as classmates are concerned... to me... many served as an expanded family who shared in my youthful experiences of personal growth all through the antics, mischief and adolescent learnings never to be forgotten...
